By combining the latest innovations in cosmetic science with training in medical, cosmetic, laser, and surgical dermatology, she is able to tailor treatments accordingly to each individual’s needs. Dr. Archbald specializes in all aspects of general dermatology, in addition to offering the following cosmetic procedures.
- Fillers – Dermal fillers decrease wrinkles, soften deep facial lines, and restore volume to the face. Several FDA-approved fillers are available, including Juvederm and Radiesse.
- Botulinum Toxin – Both FDA-approved, Botox and Xeomin help minimize unwanted wrinkle lines on the forehead and around the eyes. In addition, local injections help to decrease excess sweating under the arms.
- Chemical Peels – Used to exfoliate the skin, peels are indicated in the management of acne, photoaging, melasma, and epidermal lesions such as age spots and keratoses.
- Ultherapy – A new, FDA-approved ultrasound therapy that delivers energy deeply within the face to achieve lifting and tightening. It is used to treat the brow area as well as the neck and jowls.
- Laser Treatments
- Hair lasers decrease the amount of unwanted dark hair from the face and body.
- Vascular lasers treat port wine stains (birthmarks) and broken blood vessels.
- Tattoo lasers help to remove unwanted pigment.
- Fractionated CO2 Laser – This ablative laser is used to lessen fine lines, treat photodamage and brown spots, tighten skin, and stimulate new collagen, leading to an overall improvement in skin tone and texture.
- Cosmeceutical Products – Several safe, scientifically formulated, and effective skin care products are offered which address a range of skin problems and aging.
